Estate 18K W Gold 14.76cttw Sapphire & 1.8cttw G-H/SI1 Diamond Flower Brooch Walter Bauman Jewelers

One stamped & tested 18KT white gold hand assembled gemstone and diamond brooch with a rhodium plated finish. The “Orchid” flower form brooch measures 70.8 mm tall and 55.0 mm wide. The petals of the flower are highlighted on the edges and prong tips with Black Rhodium where the multi-color Sapphires are set. The curled edges of the petals and the outside of the central section are set with Round Brilliant cut diamonds. The Stamen of the orchid has 4 Round Brilliant cut diamonds in 4-prong settings that are mounted ‘A Tremblant’ in a coil spring. The pin is a double arrangement for stability, and has a slide closure. Identified with markings of “750”. Condition is like new.

Three hundred forty-two shared prong set round modified brilliant cut natural yellow sapphires, measuring 1.50 – 1.50 x 0.98 mm, (depth est.) approximate total weight of 6.84ct., clarity is eye clean, medium, moderately strong, yellow color, (GIA Y 5/4), cut is very good.

Eighty-three shared prong set round modified brilliant cut natural white sapphires, measuring 1.50 – 1.50 x 0.98 mm, (depth est.) approximate total weight of 1.66ct., clarity is eye clean, cut is very good.
