One stamped & tested 14KT white gold lady’s hand assembled vintage diamond cocktail ring with a pierced design with a rhodium plated finish. The ring is Circa 1930-1950’s, the Retro Period. The overall design of the cluster ring top is an asymmetrical Pear shape, consisting of a central Round Brilliant cut Diamond set in a 4-prong H-wire mounting, surrounded by groups of Round Single cut Diamonds set in assembled pairs of 3-prong H-wire mountings. The pairs of Diamonds are designed to imitate Marquise cut Diamond shapes. There are also 4 individual Round Single cut Diamonds set in 4-prong H-wire mountings. All the mountings are assembled with an armature of hand applied underwires. The hand carved, triple split shank measures 8.17 mm wide at the top center and tapers to 3.0 mm at the bottom. The ring is size 5 3/4. Identified with markings of “14K”. Condition is like new.
